Playa Venado, also called Boca de Venado is only 5 minutes away from Bosque del Pacifico, hidden from the common tourist, south of Junquillal beach and away from civilization, a Beautiful Pacific Beach that seems out of a fairy tale. On its northern border is the delta of the Rio Venado Stream, the beach itself, has 2 small beautiful bays in which it is a real pleasure to bathe or swim, further south there is a rocky area with a variety of small natural pools in the which one can sit and enjoy the silence and the scenery.
In this area, going a bit towards the sea, it is also possible to fish for red snapper.

Access to the beach is by a dirt road north of the town of Venado and is marked with a small wooden sign.
it can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by car.
In rainy seasons it is preferable to enter only with a 4×4 car.
